This is a perfect example of the shortcomings of this forum and forums like it: You get some self-styled Einstein who opines on a subject and when asked to elucidate and expand on his/her position suddenly gets a terminal case of laryngitis. So to all you 'smartest-guys-in-the-room' ; if you're unwilling or unable to defend your bloviating, shut up already. Opinions are like rear ends - everybody has one.

Cheers;

Each country has its rules just as each state does here. Some states require no deduct glass replacement harder to sell a repair when the replacement is no charge. Not sure who Puke A was talking about but some of us have buisnesses to run and dont come here often :lol: so the answer is each state is different in one State Farm doesnt cover in the next state over they have no deduct and do. In this country each state has its own insurance laws not just one national. Each company is different each state different asking a guy in idaho how to do buisness in Florida you will get the wrong answer. Confused Yet :o

So what you are saying GS is your market in most cases is exactly the same as ours in the UK, also where it is different is the same as ours once was. Get ready for the changes is all I can add at this moment.

Oops!

Demographic scale and State government laws are the main reasons why the market varies in the US and, unless there is a revolution, it will always be likely to stay the same. The UK, at the moment, has the same insurance criteria applied nationally (in some instances,excluding Northern Ireland) but this may change if Scotland votes for independence next year.
