This is from the home page of the Laborgate website: "Laborgate software is a work dispatching gateway system designed to lower costs by increasing productivity and improving labor selection. Whether using employee or contractor labor, each step is easy to control, each worker is managed efficiently, all actions and interactions are logged for review and accountability and management is more informed and in control each step of the way."
Now maybe I'm misunderstanding your position in the pecking order here, so stop me if I'm wrong, but it seems as if you are labor, not management. Laborgate software is directed specifically to management (used car managers, fleet service managers, etc) to manage workflow. So my question is, once again, if you are labor, how is it that you instead of management use the software? I don't understand how that works. It seems backwards to me.

Management must first put jobs in the system for you to retrieve and do. If they Do Not enter jobs I have no work , thus, you can't create invoices. How many managers do you know that will walk a lot and look for chips, dents, wheel damage, or anything else ? ME=0.

"What we've got here is failure to communicate" (Strother Martin to Paul Newman, Cool Hand Luke). Ok. Now I'm starting to get it. Your used car sales manager informs you that the company is using the Laborgate software and invites you as a vendor to log on and access the work roster, select a job and bill them electronically. After logging on for awhile you notice that there are never any WSR jobs on the list and you wonder why this is. Am I right so far? If so, please refer to post #4 (11/29) wherein I explain how WSR vendors have traditionally gotten work from used car dealers. Why this is the way it is and always has been and probably always will be could forever remain a mystery unless you understand the peculiar sensibilities of used car sales managers. Bottom line, you want the job, you have to show up for work. Period. Neither Laborgate, Garden gate, Stargate or Watergate will automatically throw work your way. That's life in the big city.

OK. That's it. I give up. I have absolutely no idea what you want to know. You're in the Laborgate system, you know how it works, you get work from your car accounts in the traditional manner, so what's the problem? You have to fill out an invoice? You want no pain all gain? Is this planet earth?
