I have only worked at one local carwash, and the owner agreed pretty quickly. I had a nice 1" binder with my company information, the benefits of WSR, a description of my tools and resins, his kickback (16%), reduced liability when doing the WSR before it goes through the carwash, and some other info. Basically, I sold him on earning money for nothing, the ability to offer a new service, and reducing his liability. As always, have a nice polo with your company name embroidered on it, look professional, stress that you're low-pressure and if a customer says "No", you just thank them and wish them a nice day. Works well. You can always offer a free repair on an employee's car to show your workmanship.

Have any of you guys thought about hiring a sign spinner for a day. I would be interested to see how that works. I used to be in real estate and we got a ton more calls when we had a spinner at a prominent location on the weekends.
