Time to pay attention to what's going on, Gary
I believe "Kerry" is the current NWRA president.

So how many insurance companies are having Safelite come out and do inspections now?

Is it every company that is billed through SGC or just a few?

I went and read the NWRA website and found out about the new prez.
So far, here on the forum, there have been posts about this happening in Texas from either GEICO or USAA or both.
I discussed it with ACT and so far, they haven't had it happen much but they are aware of it.
Also, 3 states, Massachusetts, Arizona, and S Carolina have introduced legislation to expressly forbid this type of relationship between a TPA's and dealer/distributors of auto glass.
This has also been made a major agenda item at the upcoming IGA conference/convention.

If you go to Glassbytes, the March 14th newsletter has a short article relating to the inspections being in an evaluation period and only being rolled out in 5 states so far. There is also an email address for the lady at USAA who is soliciting information about your experience with this matter. This is NOT a done deal. If you have firsthand experience with this situation, you have an opportunity right now to make a difference. If nobody complains to the party that can do something about it (USAA, not NWRA) then we only have ourselves to blame if it goes nationwide.
