Copy and paste this to you word or other program and set it up so you can print it out and use it doing your invoices. I always remembered the "L" was for 1990 then I would work from there.

The model year runs (thank you, Detroit) from September 1st of the previous year to August 31st of the nominal year.

Quickbooks works great, it synch's with your shop computer
