When selling a windshield repair it is very important to undersell and overachieve. The customer should be informed that their windshield will not look like new when the repair is done, but be very clear that the goal is to restore the structural integrity of their windshield. Cosmetics should be secondary but the windshield will be more visually appealing. Lastly, after you have created realistic expectations and performed a quality repair, you will rarely have an unhappy customer.

The disclaimer can say something to the effect of:

In the unlikely event that we cannot repair the damage to your satisfaction, our liability is limited to a refund of any amount charged for the attempted repair. Signing below indicates that you have read and agree to the terms set herein.

The disclaimer I emailed you has worked well for many independent windshield repair specialists and glass shops so feel free to use it.

Hi, I am trying to get my hands on a good invoice that has a great disclaimer and good organization. I bought some basic carbonless 2 part invoices from an office supply but they are not good for this business. What is the best way to get good 2 part invoices? Is there is a reasonable source to buy these from that are specific to the wsr industry. Also does anyone have any samples that I could get ideas from? Thanks

Brian

Just out of curiosity, did you read post #1 in this thread? Korey has given you a great sample invoice that you can download or email to any local print shop and they can make them for you. I have (1000) two part invoices made at a time to facilitate a cheaper cost per invoice.

Good luck!
