I have tested a large number of different fabrics and foam pads/brushes to apply the coating. Though i have two fabrics that i am doing further testing on the best application is the blue lint free shop towels.I have found if you fold it to the width of three fingers and use the square folded edge is the best method for applying the Infinity coating.

Its also worth mentioning that all blue towels are not created equal. The Kimberly Clark Scot Towels seem to work the best. I picked up an off brand roll of blue towels from Lowes a couple weeks back. They are pathetic, don't waste your money.

FWIW, I picked up a couple rolls yesterday at Walmart that are the same Scot towels, but are a new smaller sheet size. Cost per roll is a few cents more than the regular rolls, but I thought it would be handy to rip off smaller sheets. I don't use them for applying headlight coating, but they are great for all sorts of use around the garage, etc.

I purchase the same product over the weekend. They are sectional. I havent tried it yet. Wal-mart didnt have the double packs and the single rolls are more expensive. sosmetimes I only need a small piece of towel. Iam hoping this saves me money in the long run.
