What, are we putting glass in the Space Shuttle? It's a truck and probably a work truck. Heck leave the moulding off and just put it in. Tell them it's the new look. I just gave a movie company an estimate for clear glass in two different Bentelys it was for $46,000.00(we will probably do one of them). But I also take care of a lot of retired people on a fixed income and I don't burn them. Who cares if its encapsulated?

P.S. Don't care if you put chicken wire in an F-1 Enzo, we're talking about real cars with real customers who MIGHT care about quality. Maybe its different on the west coast?
Oh yeah, why insult ME when I try to give an opinion????? You just got done bashing someone else when you gave a simple opinion?

we have decided that low margin jobs also give you the most callback issues. after 26 years in the business, it's hard to change from capture every job that comes your way to where we are now -- we are not everybodies glass company! we have gone up in $, do less jobs per man and make the same dollars = HIGHER MARGINS!!! let jobs like this go to a tailgater/shadtree operator, be the best in your market -- not the cheapest. some customers are chosing between this glass and paying rent & need a low price; I fully understand, we have found that they also beat you up on damage that you didn't do -- dent in qtr panel at the other end of the car, etc! let comeone else do the job that doesn't have a great warranty w/every job!
