In order of my preference:

G Suite is great but not free anymore, unless you register your domain through Google, which is well worth doing if you want to use G Suite. https://domains.google/learn/what-to-do ... omain.html#/ https://gsuite.google.com/

ZOHO has a free option that you can customize with your own URL so it looks professional, and it works pretty well. https://www.zoho.com/mail/

I think Godaddy has a free option if your domain is registered with them but I have not tried it. I mention it because a lot of small businesses register their URLs through Godady. https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-up-ema ... esses-7600

Glad to hear you understand the value of an email address customized to your URL. I don't understand why some small business owners are still using gmail, yahoo, or AOL email for their company email addresses.

I may have misspoke. It looks like G Suite might charge you even if you register your URL through Google.

i know this is a kind of old thread,, but I thought I'd add my $0.02 worth to it.

My current "side" business (going on 15 years now) is web hosting and design. My focus has always been getting my customer to a more professional outward appearance. Proper domain name, with email and website is always best. Every hosting company should have the option to register your domain, host your site and part of that hosting is email services.

PM me is you are interested in more information or assistance in setting something up.

I am here currently because I am looking at becoming a WSR and doing my pre-setup investigating to determine if I have what it take (I do) and keep me busy so I am not in my other half's way at at home! LOL
