Repairs in HUD area
Last posts I found on this were about 10 years old. As heads-up-displays have become more common, is there anymore feedback/studies on doing repairs in this area? Recently had insurance agent friend who inquired for one of his policyholders.

Re: Repairs in HUD area
I did a batswing in the HUD area, as I see it depending on the windshiled there is either a phosfor coating on the inside glass or the PVB either way it should not effect the area that you repair in. That said I am more than happy for someone else to contribute who may easily know more than I do about the makeup of these windshields.
