Which kit to start with?

Post by IcareWSR »

Hello,

I was hoping to get some advice on which kit to start with from Delta. I am starting out with WSR part time and mobile of course. Is the EZ250 or the EZ300 the best to start with? To my understanding the main differ from is the bridge style. Thanks for the help!

A key difference in the systems are the injectors, but both are easy to use and the process isn't hard to learn. My preference is the spring type injector because all you have to do is pull up and turn to the right to go between pressure and vacuum cycles.

I have 3 b150 bridges, and keep the 3 leg bridge on hand for special repairs. Whatever you do, have 3 bridges. 2 is not enough, 4 is probably too much.

I notice that one kit has a slide hammer and the other has a spring hammer.
I prefer the slide hammer because I feel that it does not strike the glass as hard as the spring hammer.
I have a spring hammer too, but I just use it as a probe.
If you drill to the proper depth, the glass at the bottom of the drill hole will produce a bullseye with just a slight tap.
Which tool do you other WSR techs prefer when making a bullseye ?

Good question that and one I am having a problem answering, I have both in my box and I doubt I favour either of them. I will see how it goes over the next few days.
