United Kingdom, New Repair Business
Hi All, I have recently set up on my own and am looking to invest in a good repair kit, I have had some experience using the Glass Medic system, would this be the best Choice ?
As i am new to this i would really appreciate any help or advice from fellow repairers
Thanks in Advance.

I am a bit biased seeing as I use Delta, I take it you are Ex AG, I have had quite a few of your colleagues here for training and to buy kits over the years.
You will be suprised what you can repair with our tools compared with the Glass Medic kits, which in my opinion is, well let us not go there. For the record I have run side by side comparisons on many occasions.
Give me a call for a chat anytime you want.

Hi Mark, forget about using Glass Medic. Supplies of equipment( classic system) have become very difficult to obtain. The RAS123 system is only available to Belron companies. Good luck in your new venture.

I suggest you check all the windshield repair kits out there are plenty of suppliers out there try and buy a kit from somebody on your own door step, you never know when you need a part and it would be better to get something from the UK than getting something from the USA .Most of the bigger Windshield Repair outlets have Suppliers in EUROPE

Where are you in the UK Mark? There sure is plenty of work around most places,as very few people doing the job properly. Many of the repairs I see do not look like they have been touched, it is easy to take these customers and keep them long term.

I could argue against that for many reasons. Even more so in the UK.bill lambeth wrote:GW all the way !!

Hi Screenman, if you don't mind, could you elaborate on this as I am considering a GW franchise in the UK. Thanks.screenman wrote:I could argue against that for many reasons. Even more so in the UK.bill lambeth wrote:GW all the way !!
