Re: just began in this field. any suggestions?
Alamo,
My best advice, especially for someone new, is practice PRACTICE PRACTICE!!! Before you hose up someone's ride. And when you think you know what you are doing, always explain to your customer that their windshield is already hopelessly broken, and thus, you will attempt to repair it. Once repaired, you're good to go. Be very careful with pressure and heat, that is what causes crack outs. Make their expectations low and the end product well beyond their expectations. Good luck!!!

It all boils down to what you put into it, whether it's your business or your marriage!

Here's my advice - Print this out, put it someplace where you'll see it and do what it says.

I don't think you require any more suggestion, you already have now a lot, i better advise to GET STARTEDksanges3 wrote:I worked for an independent company and was fully trained by them. I was just very taking back by how they ran their company. All they did was car washes and gas stations and tried to have us push the sales. So I bought my own kit and left there and I'm going to try to succeed independently. I was thinking of way more appointments and less tents. Any other suggestions for this new guy in the field? Also I live in new jersey. Thanks ahead of time.
