Re: uk free chip repair service
I never not ever do insurance work, I find it an expensive market to service. I much prefer 2 or 3 jobs+++ per visit which is why I do fleet and garages.
All that said with proper skills and the desire to do quality work the SICP could help with the invoicing side of insurance work.
Access Point and Retail Concessions control some of the car parks and on average they will cost you in region of £65 to £125 per day depending on foot fall.
The UK market is full of hackers and wasters the market is good for those who can do quality work, unfortunately many of the tool sellers who supply training have little or no outside real world experience to offer on. The big market names lack skill and the correct tooling, the insurers are now charging excess for repairs and premiums will often increase for customers having a repair, all this makes it a good time for a quality tech with drive and determination to enter the business.
As you know or some one will soon tell you I am the UK supplier of tools and training for Delta, so if you want a further chat you will find my number on the UK Delta site.

You would do best by researching the market and finding that there are less vehicles on the UK roads with glass insurance than those without, meaning chasing insurance customers is chasing the smaller also less reliable market.
