Thanks Pommy. I use IPA a lot when detailing to remove the oils from compounds of polishes so I have lots of this with me at all times. Thanks for the tips of how to spot these things. The kits are pretty costly so I may wait, also I want to keep reading up on this forum. I still have to purchase products for the detailing side so right now, that comes first. Thanks again.

Here are some pics just for clarification
This is 320 focused in the corner:
This is three more areas where I pressed down and kept it on to get through the OEM (It's actually Infinity in this case, one of my "test" lenses).
And this is what you should end up with before moving on to your next grade of disc/paper...

A picture is worth a thousand words. That was a good illustration of what the lens should look like. newbies will have a better understanding of what to look for while sanding. Good morning to you.
