do you need to fill the pit with pit resin or can you just cure it with resin and no pit resin?

I would say before you continue to ask those types of questions. you get proper training, This forum is great for advice but if you are unsure about the need for pit resin you seriously need some formal training.

Re: STAR REPAIR
Pit fill has far better weathering characteristics than the very thin resin that you use to fill the damage with. A repair without using pitfill although at first looking fine will soon fail, this does not mean crack out but the pit will drop out.
Can I ask what tools and dryout system you are using?

Re: STAR REPAIR
85 repairs doesn't mean much if they aren't done correctly and youtube is by no means the best source for quality training. Before you start working on customer's vehicles, seek adequate training from a quality source,
