I say that is awesome. I pay 400+ per year but its just general liability if I were to ruin someone's paint or the car was crashed in my care...no coverage on the crack out of a windshield.

I'd say for the coverage you are getting the premium is nice! However, I don't see the Garage Keepers. Also, I have never heard of coverage if your repair fails.....does this mean fails while you are doing the repair or if your repair fails 8 months down the road? Who is this Insurance Company?

I can understand paint issues...but if you repair WS, I can see no valid reason why you would need to be driving behind their wheel...
if the car was in your care, but you did not crash it, then it is not your liability...ever notice those shop signs? We are not
liable for vehicles left in our care, or stolen items, you get the idea...aka, our only liability is for attempted repairs, you can even
add, we are not responsible for vehicles left in our care, or stolen items.

but anyways, if anyone is interested, here is the info:

Bolt Insurance
mmahabadi@boltinsurance.com

If you guys find out any more info then I have, then please feel free to post
here so that everyone knows, this way, we all can be informed of what everyone is asking....

I have posted the info. and those are good questions, I did not ask any deep details, he just mentioned
both, if you are doing the repair, and you crack out the WS, and after the repair, how long after, I do not know...

Feel free to email him your questions, or call, please post them here so we all know.

maybe its a "too good to be true" maybe its not...

Some of you other guys may know exactly what questions to ask...

DavidS,

It does sound to good to be true. I'd definitely research this company further before sending any money. When I carried Garage Keepers insurance I was paying over $950 per year with $1,000 deductible. Who knows...you wouldn't really find out until a claim was filed.
