If I understand your question your first repair is the base price, in this case $50.00 any other repair would be $10 for each additional. The reason for the term 50-10-10 is that most insurance companies will only pay for three repairs, thus the 50-10-10. However if you are doing a repair for a customer then the additional repairs can be as many chips that the windshield may have.

Not to forget, there's a number of insurance companies today that will only pay a flat rate that could range from $60-$75 and will expect you to repair up to 3 chips. If your under a signed contract with these companies your not allowed to charge customer additional fees. With this agreement, sometimes you'll make out while other times you won't. I've found on average I'm payed $65-$70 flat rate for this, which isn't all bad. Largest expense is mobile getting their, while 2 additional repairs is minimal.
