Hello Folks,
ClearViewGlass here from Gadsden, Alabama. I am seeking information on how to get into the repair business of automobile seats that have cigarette burns. I've been in the glass repair business for about 2 1/5 years and want to expand to do repairs on upholstery too. I've had request from various car lots I have contracts with and I'm looking for more info. Anybody else doing this? Thanks.

ClearViewGlass,
Welcome to the forums!
You could try Fitzgerald's Restoration Products...Their number is (800) 441-3326, ask for Randy.
They are a good source for all interior repair and upholstery products, and a great company to work with.

This is a list of Interior repair companies advertising in the latest edition of Detailers Digest.
http://www.vinylpro.com
http://www.reconproducts.com
http://www.superiorrestoration.com - They are in Florida and have a training class scheduled 02-21-04.
I'd search the web for a forum on interior repair or better yet maybe one of the above companies has one. Seems to me that the most active forums are so for a good reason. Look at Deltakits.com; by far the busiest forum I know of for wsr. The reason is their customers are successful because of their training,equipment,support..... Interior repair companies should be the same.... Best of luck,
