Re: Crack repair multiple failure
Sorry, missed this somehow. You've probably already talked with one of my co-workers about this but for the sake of other forum readers I'll give you my 2 cents. We have found that the size and shape of the drill bit, along with the size, shape, and sharpness of the point on the tool being used are ...

Re: Air bubbles around bullseye edges.
Gotcha. I'm not opposed to trying to cure under pressure if nothing else works, but if it is happening frequently something else is going on, especially with a bullseye. I can't tell you how many people I've talked with over the years who have said that after months or years of repairing windshields...

Re: Air bubbles around bullseye edges.

Re: Never seen Forum so inactive
We still have a lot of active readers but very few engaging these days. It might have something to do with the Pandemic or everyone being busy, but I think the reality is that most who were once active here have moved to Facebook groups, which admittedly are more suited for those who want to build r...

Re: Auto Glass Technician Olympics
Attendance at Auto Glass Week was low this year, in part due to COVID, and likely in part to it being held in June, which is a really busy time of year for most of us in the auto glass industry, but the competitions for Auto Glass Technicians, Windshield Repair Technicians, Calibration Technicians, ...

Re: Big pit adapter
You can try using a polishing wheel on your Delta Kits or Dremel drill but I've always found it difficult to keep the surface perfectly flat. There are a bunch of different styles of felt wheels and we used to carry several of them. I think we might have some of the Dremel 414 polishing wheels left ...
