Re: SGC

You are lucky, that would only pay for a seventh of a gallon over here. As you say odd increase, but spin that around and most of us want cheap insurance, so I guess we cannot get it both ways.

Re: Any Recommendations for Pit Repair in San Diego?

I would never sell a repair as being invisible, once we see the photo we can give a more accurate answer.

Re: Windscreen Chip Repair Insurance uk

You are welcome, not forgetting only a third of vehicles on UK roads even have glass cover, which makes it the smaller share of the market. Go fleets and dealers with quality reliable work and the payback is extremely good.

Re: Uv flashlight problem

Take the end off and you will see a ring with two holes in, is this tight? How many of us drop the light into our boxes and chuck the boxes about, I am sure I am not the only one.

Re: Windscreen Chip Repair Insurance uk

I have not billed an insurer for at least a dozen years, people do not want their premiums to rise which makes it very easy to get them to pay.

Re: Rising prices

The barrier to raising repair prices often lies within the technician's head and not the customers, I cannot even remember when one of my repair customers even asked me for a price.

Re: Inspection Mirror x3 / Denatured Alcohol

Denatured alcohol is great for cleaning tools, but not great for putting in the damage as for one thing it softens pvb.

Re: Magnetic reaction force.

They used to do glass nails for holding loose windshields in with, I think they stopped selling those when the specialist hammer needed was hard to get hold of.

Magnetic reaction force.

If you come across a tight starbreak try placing a magnet up close to it a another or a piece of metal on the other side of the glass, this helps create a ground force that draws the resin away from the atmosphere into the deepest parts of the legs.

Re: Preferred vendor

There are a lot of uninsured vehicles out there in fact over they make up the majority of vehicles on the road, so chase the bigger market would be my suggestion. I cannot help you with the preferred vendor bit as I am not in the USA.
