Re: Multiple Impact Points
To add to comments, from my experience if you just started from the bottom, the resin would begin to run out the top hole not allowing for pressure which is needed to fill repair completely.

Re: Multiple Impact Points
I'm sorry about a late response, just like sunshine said, I would cap by putting pit resin over the impact holes and curing, then drill a new hole in center or in one of the holes that you capped and begin repair. should be nothing but a thing.

Re: Rear View Mirror
I wish that it were that simple, I have that tool, works great for installing certain rear view mirrors, but does not work on the ones that I am talking about. This one has to twist on and off like a vice, can be very difficult, lubricant helps some but there is no tool for this one. Thanks anyway I...

Re: Crack repair multiple failure
Something that I have experienced before with a crack that you cannot seem to stop, is to make sure that the crack is on the outside layer of glass. If it is on the inside layer, it will always keep jumping past your drill point.

Re: Crack on inside of glass
Never have been able to repair a crack on the inside layer of glass, and would not recommend trying. Everything is upside down, you do not want to drip resin on the dash of the car, acid in the resin will do considerable damage, also would have to cure from the inside because the UV laminate will no...

Re: Air bubbles around bullseye edges.
I know that this is not protocol but when I see that air is remaining on a vacuum cycle and I cannot get it out, I do not hesitate to cure under pressure, works every time.

Never seen Forum so inactive
Just a shout out to everyone, hope that all is doing well. I have for years enjoyed reading whatever was posted on this forum, but it just seems that it has slowed way down. Not sure if it has been the Pandemic or maybe everyone is just to busy, I know that I have been really busy. Thanks to all who...

I always buy mine at Sam's Club, you have to be a member though. but the price is good, you get 2 boxes in a package with 200 gloves in each box. I think that it is around 16.00

Re: moisture evaporator episode
I never work without the moisture evaporator, I have never in 11 years had a crack out because of using it. I would never be without it. Like Brent says, always warm the windshield with the defroster when the glass is cold only takes 2 or 3 minutes.

No, the HUD does not have to be calibrated.
