Re: State of the Business

The state of the business doesn't matter. The state of YOUR business does. How's your business doing? I bet it's not slumping as much as America's National glass leader. If it is slumping, maybe you're paying too much attention to "the industry" as you see it. Do yourself a favor, get off all the ne...

Re: $150 for delta kit

Chocolate, no Toffee, err! I cannot make up my mind on the one.

I have apologised for my first post on this topic, to be honest and I am sure a few will agree it looked very troll like.

Re: Equipment and Resin

I agree using a tinted resin doesn't hurt anything if that is your preference and you are getting the desired results. Re: Which resin is better when viewing inside the car?

Re: Polishing

Try to avoid pit filling, tabbing, curing and not polishing. That leaves a slightly elevated spot that can catch and wear on wiper blades over time. Also the clear finish it leaves after removing the tab is only temporary and it will age out to a duller spot anyway. Follow proper repair tecniques, s...

Re: american windshield repair systems

Mr Bill seems to be spot on, but I'll add a few comments. I agree, you do not need a lighter. I have never used one, and personally, I think it looks unprofessional. There is an entire discussion on this topic on the forum as well. Bottom line, it can give a temporary false appearance because it wil...

Re: american windshield repair systems

Excellent point Mr. Bill. Most experienced technicians don't time their cycles, myself included. As you become proficient with whatever system you are using you will know how long to leave in each cycle and how many cycles you need simply be observing how the damage is filling. The reason we encoura...
