You can't be serious! Some of the alignment tabs are hollow and if you shave them off you will leave a hole in the lens. Removing them is damaging the lens, not restoring it. When someone works on my vehicle I expect them to do what is best for me, not easiest for them, and if they cut the alignment...

Actually I have a whole bunch of Delta cure lights.

Check with Liquid Resins, they sell a very nice umbrella set up, just mount away from the damage, works great! Set it up for 5 minutes or so and go to work!
Used mine for 15 or more years, they put it on sale often.

I did a re- repair last week.
The original repairman drilled a big hole at the impact point of the star break and then filled that drill hole.
All four legs were left unfilled.
I see this all the time.
Maybe its a good thing for insurance companies to check on workmanship.
