Re: Windshield Repair Class

I'm going to disagree with most of the above feedback. I think it is great that you are going to do an instruction on WSR and would strongly encourage you to do so. Don't worry about competition budding from the class and if it does so be it. You're instructing others who already have a career. Not ...

Re: New uv lamp and scorpion

Mine is on the way. As well as a couple of B150 bridges. Every time I see the UPS man, I chase him like a dog.

Re: WSR worldview

The shy and timid need not apply. Screenman hit it. This is a very social business. I'm shocked at how many people don't have a clue about the ability to fix their windshields. Yet I know when I have a customer that met a good windshield repairman in the past. It's not just about fixing windshields,...

Re: What is the best UV shield

I use the Delta UV shields with great results. I use their dome in rain. I recently purchased the shield that accompanies the Scorpion but I am skeptical about it but I haven't used it a lot. Good luck!!!

Screenman and T4K, what do you guys do in the cold of winter? If I could go without the lighter that would be idea...

Re: alternative to a lighter for heat

So as a better practice, you recommend that the defrost be set to a medium temp while performing the repair? This makes sense as I notice what you are talking about in my wintertime repairs.

Wire removal - Glass Bot

I was very slow to accept the wire removal method of modern vehicles but industry standards forced me to take the plunge. After countless hours of research, I decided to try the Glass Bot and I used it today for the first time. I am a very happy customer and I can't wait to increase my proficiency i...
