Re: Fleet Invoice
The copy you got from Korey is an example. It should be modified to include your businesss name. As others have mentioned . Keep it simple. I use a book from staples for most of my invoices, because I also do HLR. For insurance, I use one similar to the one Korey sent out. The statement type size wa...

Re: Newbie
Good morning. My son is a single dad in San Diego attending college full time and has a 30 month old daughter. He is having a tough time at the moment, the same as you. He choose another route instead of learning the WSR & HLR skills I offered to train him. Now that his options are limited he is now...

Re: Pit Polish
I use the pit polish with my finger and a soft fiber rag the majority of the time. I also have a polishing wheel for my dremel that I use on certain repairs. I also will use a shop towel at times. I agree with the other post. It gives the blemish a better appearance, less noticeable

Re: Cloudy Finish Help
I've noticed that if you dont let the pit resin cure competley the results are dull. Check your pit resin also. I no longer leave mine in the vehicle when its hot outside because I've seen this happen a few times during the summer especially when I was getting near an empty bottle. When I have 2 bre...

Re: Windshield Repair Class
I had 2 detaishops that called me about 4 years ago to do HLR & WSR for their client. After watching me do it several times they both do their own now using a supplier thay saw at the Vegas car show. I still get called when they mess up someones vehicle or dont want to take the risk on a high end ve...

Re: Legs - pop a bulls-eye?
I agree with GlassStarz. Unless those legs are more than a few inches, I dont pop a bullseye. Its more like a judgement call. I use DK resin the majority of the time. I have a thin resin that was sent to me and it works great on some of these tight legs. Time sometimes makes the biggest different. Y...

Re: Legs - pop a bulls-eye?
Screenman brought up a good point. Make sure you are using a UV shield. I've seen some use nothing to shield the bridge while filling the crack/break. Also prior to removing the bridge, use your UV light to cure the legs area. The DK new UV pin light works great. You can get in close without removin...

Re: Fighting an uphill battle
Find detail shops that don't do headlights. If the state does'nt enforce laws for headlights you are fighting uphill. You need to look at the upper end of car owners. BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Jeep Cherokee etc... . People that have nice vehicles that detail, often will have their HL done. Many are not ...
